    Featuring the NEW Friendship Loom - An inexpensive way to experience tapestry weaving
    Students will receive instruction in the areas of warping methods; tapestry techniques; problem solving; design and history of tapestry weaving; finishing methods.  The group will focus on technique and explore ideas for more innovative designs. 
    Class Fee: $80
    Max Students: 10
    Time: all day Saturday, with breaks




    Stitching a Felt Critter,  Eleanor Beasley of Unfamiliar Ceiling
    Description: Brief overview of felt: types, production and more
    Learn different stitches used in embroidery & hand sewing
    Production of a hand sewn plush felt bunny 
    Inspiration on how one pattern can be made a million different ways
    Additional: Post workshop support will be provided via e-mail by instructor.  Hand-outs of all information covered will be provided to each student.
    Bring: Scissors, embroidery or tapestry needle.  Extras of these might be available for use.  All other supplies will be provided.
    Skill Level: Beginner on up! Ages 10+
    Class Fee: $20

    Time: 1:30-4 (with a break) Saturday



    "Just a Pumpkin" Hooked Mat, Marti Taylor of Mustard Seed Primitive Designs
    Description: 8" hooked pumpkin mat with 1/4" wool strips.  A simple project for beginners on up.  Students will learn how to transfer a pattern onto backing, basic hooking directions and finishing techniques.  Frames will be available for student use.
    Bring: Scissors
    Skill Level: Beginner & up, age 18+
    Class Fee: $50
    Max Students: 15
    Time: 10-2 (with a break) Saturday
